Marguerite at Opéra de Paris
Marguerite at Opéra de Paris
Ms. Edris commences her 2024/25 season with a return to the Opéra national de Paris where she revives the role of Marguerite in Faust. Her performance of the role at Detroit Opera in 2022 was praised by Operawire: “Edris sang with a youthful vitality laced with a sophisticated technical shrewdness indicative of her training and acquired operatic experiences…Her French diction was the beau idéal, not surprising given her apparent familiarity with the Parisian operatic world.” On this occasion, Ms. Edris shares the stage with Pene Pati in the title-role, Florian Sempey as Valentin, and Alex Esposito as Méphistophélès, conducted by Emmanuel Villaume.
She delivers performances to Parisian audiences on September 26th, 29th; October 2nd, 5th, 8th and 12th.
