Royal Opera debut
This December, Ms. Edris makes her second house debut of the season, performing one of her signature roles, Musetta, at the Royal Ballet and Opera in Covent Garden, London, in Puccini’s La bohème. Her performance at Théâtre des Champs-Elysées was praised by Mundo Clasico: “Amina Edris was splendid as Musetta: a full-bodied voice, easy high notes, great musicality, a sure theatrical sense, her Musetta sounded new to our ears.” On this occasion, Ms. Edris shares the stage with Olga Kulchynska as Mimi, Pene Pati as Rodolfo and Mikhail Timoshenko as Marcello. Speranza Scappucci conducts the chorus and orchestra of the Royal Ballet and Opera.
Performances take place on December 13th, 16th, 18th, 20th and 23rd. Tickets and more information can be found here.
