Amina Edris makes her highly anticipated debut at the Metropolitan Opera this April as Musetta in Puccini’s La Bohème, in Franco Zeffirelli’s beloved production. Having previously performed as both Mimì and Musetta, Edris returns to the spirited and flirtatious Musetta, bringing her vocal brilliance to one of opera’s most captivating characters.
She appears alongside Angel Blue as Mimì and Adam Smith as Rodolfo, under the baton of Roberto Kalb. Performances take place on April 11, 15, 18, 24, 27 and May 2, 2026.
Looking ahead, Edris returns to the role of Mimì next season at the Semperoper Dresden, continuing her exploration of Puccini’s heroine. Tickets and additional information for La Bohème at the Semperoper Dresden can be found here.
