The 2026/2027 season brings Amina Edris back to some of the world’s leading opera houses and concert halls, with a season filled with signature roles, exciting returns, and new debuts. 

Edris begins the season with a return to San Francisco Opera, where she was an Adler Fellow, in one of her signature roles: the title role of Massenet’s Manon. She brings her acclaimed interpretation of the young heroine to the stage in Vincent Boussard’s production with performances in October and November, 2026. From San Francisco, Edris travels to Dresden for her house debut at the Semperoper Dresden, where she takes on Mimì in Puccini’s La Bohème. She performs alongside Pene Pati as Rodolfo and under the baton of Lorenzo Passerini. 

The new year brings an exciting house debut at Deutsche Oper Berlin, where Edris performs the role of Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen. She then returns to the title role of Massenet’s Thaïs in concert with the Orchestra de Chambre de Genève.

In June, Edris returns to the Opéra national de Paris as Juliette in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette, one of her signature roles. In Thomas Jolly’s production, she takes on the celebrated role for performances on June 7, 10, 13, 16, and 19, 2027. You can listen to Amina sing Juliette’s “Dieu! Alongside her opera engagements, Edris takes to the concert platform throughout the season. She joins tenor Pene Pati for a gala performance in Prague before appearing with him at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris for an evening of beloved arias and love duets with the Orchestre national de Montpellier under the baton of Samy Rachid. She will also appear in recital at the Gstaad New Year Music Festival, and Abu Dhabi Festival.
