Amina Edris returns to the Opéra national de Paris, this time as Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen. “A sumptuous lyric soprano, she is remarkable in this role. The voice is sonorous, colorful and artfully driven,” raved Forum Opera following her debut in the role at Opéra national du Rhin.
This time, she appears alongside Stéphanie d'Oustrac and Russell Thomas from February 7 to March 3, and with Victoria Karkacheva and Jean‑François Borras from March 7 to 19, while Erwin Schrott performs as Escamillo. Keri-Lynn Wilson conducts all thirteen performances.
Performances take place on February 7, 10, 13, 19, 22, 25, 28 and March 3, 7, 10, 13, 16, and 19, 2026.
